In June 2021, I unveiled a sustainable crushed glass portrait of Mr. Trammell S. Crow, founder and CEO of Earth X, at the newly established Crow Living and Learning Center at Paul Quinn College. In October 2024, I was honored to attend a "Half-Day Earth Day" event hosted by Mr. Crow and Earth X, where I was introduced to JunkLuggers, a Dallas-based sustainable company, dedicated to diverting materials from landfills by salvaging items from businesses that are closing. Using reclaimed materials sourced from JunkLuggers, I have created distinctive, zero-waste artworks, kinetic sculptures, as well as, my signature sustainable crushed glass pieces, also incorporating broken CDs/DVDs, Marbles, Holographic film, etc. which are integral to this collection.
